That’s not to say there’s no difference in the design of the two devices though: the Ring 2 is thicker and taller than the original, but this isn’t apparent at a glance. In terms of design, the second-generation Ring doorbell unsurprisingly looks much like its predecessor (it is a doorbell after all!). Ring is one of the best-known providers of video doorbells, and this is its cheapest option.
